5 New Images From Rian Johnson’s Looper

Five new Official Images from Rian Johnson’s Science Fiction Film ‘Looper,’ have landed. Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis’ Looper is an upcoming American science-fiction film directed by Rian Johnson. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt. Filming began in Louisiana on January 24, 2011.   The film is scheduled to be released on September 28, 2012.

I am going to be a complete sucker for this film until I see it and it’s shit. First, I am a huge Sci-Fi fan and we are slaves to the genre. Second, I really like Rian Johnson. I think he is a smart, awesome young director (38). He directed the high school noir film ‘Brick’ with Joseph Gorgon-Levitt and they’re back together here with ‘Looper’.

If you want to hear a good Director Commentary, listen to Rian Johnson’s on the  ’Brick’ DVD. It’s so fantastic and he walks you through making a film for $500,000. He made deals with his high school and deals with friends and neighbors… Just listen to it. It’s so good.

Third, I am a huge fan of the fore-mentioned Gordon-Levitt. What can I say, he’s the man. I love actors who live in the world between big budget films and Indies and I don’t think any other actor in the world is living in that grey space like Gordon-Levitt.

Looper comes to theaters September 28th, 2012 and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis,Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano, Piper Perabo, Garret Dillahunt, Tracie Thoms. The film is directed by Rian Johnson.
