Ashley Tisdale Set to Play Escort on Sons of Anarchy

Ashley Tisdale has been a busy girl. Last week she was cast as the lead in Scary Movie 5, on Friday she was seen on the red carpet at the ‘Rock of Ages’ premiere with Zac Efron and today it has been announced that Ashley Tisdale has just been booked for a two episode story arch on the FX biker drama, ‘Sons of Anarchy.’

Its explosive news for the girl with the sweet reputation. This casting proves the point I made earlier this week, at twenty-six, Tisdale is done with Disney and ABC family. She is ready to transition into mature TV and film roles. Sure, Scary Movie is childish comedy, but its certainly not made for pre-teens.

On Sons of Anarchy, Ashley Tisdale will play a high-priced escort who complicates the club’s life. It looks like Tisdale’s agency, CAA and Perlman Management are trying to give this girl some edge. Being that I’m twenty-nine, this is the first time I’ve been excited about Ashley Tisdale’s career. It will be interesting to see if she has the stuff to transition into adult roles.
