Scarlett Johansson reportedly offered $20 Million to Reprise Role in ’Avengers 2′ making her the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
According to The New York Post, Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in “Avengers 2” for a cool $20 million, becoming the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
To place this into some kind of perspective, Pixar’s “Brave” earned $20.1 million in domestic sales for all of last week.
Considering the kind of money raked in by “Marvel’s The Avengers” this summer ($1.355 billion worldwide), it’s not surprising studio executives are willing to dig deeper into the bank accounts.
Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner will reportedly receive 50% pay increases for reprising their roles in “Avengers 2.”
Filming of ’Avengers 2′ will probably begin toward the latter half of 2013, for release in 2015. With San Diego’s Comic-Con this weekend, Marvel will probably (hopefully) have additional movie news for all us “Avengers” fans.
