The Perks of Being a WallflowerHere is the debut trailer of Emma Watson in ‘The Perks of Being A Wallflower.’

It’s a film adaptation of the novel by the same name starring Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Paul Rudd, and Ezra Miller.

It’s a coming of age story that explores introversion, drug use, and the awkward times of adolescence. The story takes place in a suburb of Pittsburgh during the 1991–1992 school year, when Charlie (Lerman) is a high school freshman. He then meets two friends, Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Miller), high school seniors, that change his young life forever.

Incidentally, there were rumors that The Perks of Being a Wallflower would be rated R. Well, it did get an R Rating for teen drug and alcohol use, and some sexual references. But Mr. Mudd and Summit Entertainment appealed for a PG-13 rating and won. That change will go a long way for the films box office gross.

Here is the trailer below. “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” which also stars Kate Walsh, Dylan McDermott, Mae Whitman and Melanie Lynsky, hits theaters September 14.
