Fantastically New, Frankenweenie TV Spot

Frankenweenie TV-SpotIf you love Tim Burton’s Stop Motion, like I do, then you’ll love this fresh Frankenweenie TV Spot released by Tim Burton Productions and Walt Disney Pictures.

The Frankenweenie TV-Spot paints old America and the 50′s style middle class America. The narrator is practically forcing propaganda — It’s hilarious. Then all the happiness comes to a halt and our narrator says, “But some of the town folks here are anything but ordinary.”

The rest of the TV-Spot lays out the synopsis in grand fashion, making this blogger ultra excited to see the film when it comes out. I have been saying this for a few months. Frankenweenie is going to be a break from the big budget action and love sick dramas. Leave it to Tim Burton to add some spice to Hollywood. He always has.

Still, this is a bit of a gamble. A 3D black and white stop motion picture? I don’t even know if there is polling data for a film like this. I can tell you this though, it’s going to look incredible in IMAX 3D. This TV-Spot proves that much.

In New Holland, after the death of his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring him back to life. Victor tries to hide his creation, but Sparky gets out and unintentionally causes havoc in the town.

Frankenweenie stars the voices of Charlie Tahan, Frank Welker, Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara and many more. The screenplay was written by John August and Tim Burton directs. Frankenweenie hits theaters on October 5, 2012. Be there or be totally square.  I think this is going to be  a classic.
