First trailer from Robert Zemeckis’ ‘Fight,’ Starring Denzel Washington

The first trailer from Robert Zemeckis’ new drama, ‘Fight’ has hit the web today, starring Denzel Washington. The film is about an airline pilot who saves a flight from crashing, but an investigation into the malfunctions reveals something troubling.

It’s since to see Robert Zemeckis back at home with live action. I have long thought, Zemeckis was wasting his talent in films like A Christmas Carol, Beowulf and The Polar Express. This is his first live action film since the amazing film, ‘Cast Away.’ Zemeckis is probably best known for Forrest Gump and his smash hit trilogy, Back to the Future.

I have always though Robert Zemeckis is a great filmmaker, but have be angry with him. I say give “Give us another Back to the Future!” Have Marty McFly, Jr. find Delorean have him travel though history like is father and go on a back to the future adventure of his own. I digress.

I will be the first to admit, I thought there would be more to ‘Flight’. From the looks of the trailer, the film seems like a dramatic story about one man who safely crashed a play, doing the impossible. The only antagonistic bait in the film, is Denzel Washington’s perceived alcoholism. Knowing Zemeckis as I do, as I think I do, he must have anther trick up his sleeve or else this film looks to be heading no where in this film lovers mind. Don’t take my word for it, take a look at the newly released trailer below.

Kelly Reilly joined the cast with Don Cheadle, John Goodman, Bruce Greenwood,  Melissa Leo and James Badge Dale. Paramount will release the film on November 2, 2012.
