Grey’s Anatomy: Casts Camilla Luddington in Recurring Role for Season 9

According to TVLine’s Matt Webb Mitovich, Camilla Luddington, who played Kate Middleton in Lifetime’s William & Kate telepic, has been cast in a recurring guest-star role for season 9 of Grey’s Anatomy. Here’s an excerpt from the article:

Luddington will play a doctor, yes, in a recurring role that comes with the option to eventually be a series regular. The actress’ other TV credits include True Blood — the first of her six episodes as Claudette aired this past Sunday — and Californication.

My thoughts: I’m not familiar with Camilla Luddington, so I can’t comment on her acting, but like said when they cast Gaius Charles, (The Random Thoughts of a Writer: Grey’s Anatomy Exclusive: FNL MVP Gaius Charles Joins Season 9 Cast as [Spoiler]-TVLine) I really hope that Chyler Leigh and Kim Raver are the only actors who will be leaving the show for now. However, both of these recent cast additions are really starting to make me worry that they aren’t the only actors who will be leaving the show at the beginning of season 9. I hope that won’t be the case though.
