Written by Alexander Tucker   // 06/13/2012

The MissionaryEmmy Award Winning actor, Aaron Paul may make the jump from one great series, Breaking Bad, to another great series on HBO, created by Charles Randolph, called, ‘The Missionary.’ Hbo has Ordered the cold war spy drama pilot from tv/film writer Charles Randolph, producer Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg and Malcolm Gladwell.

Deadline reports, The Pilot titled, ‘The Missionary,” is set in Berlin in the late 1960s and centers on a young American missionary (Paul) who becomes involved with the CIA. Randolph and New Yorker writer Gladwell, who are friends, had been working on an idea for a spy project when they met with Levinson and Wahlberg who also had been looking to do a spy drama.

I don’t know about you, but this gets me excited. HBO, Aaron Paul, Wahlberg, Gladwell, Levinson? What could go wrong? The producers took the project to HBO where Wahlberg has a running relationship and it seems like HBO has bit. expect this pilot to get picked up.

So, even though we’re losing Aaron Paul’s Jessie Pinkman, we may be getting him back on premium television less than a year after Breaking Bad wraps up one of the greatest dramatic runs in television history.
