Jean Dujardin, is in talks to join Scorsese’s ‘Wolf of Wall Street’

Wolf of Wall StreetThe man who ruled 2012, Jean Dujardin, is in talks to join Martin Scorsese’s ‘Wolf of Wall Street.’ I hope this happens, what an interesting pairing this would be.

Scorsese’s, ‘Wolf of Wall Street,’ would just be his show however. He would be joining an all-star cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill, and would play a Swiss banker.

Terence Winter (“The Sopranos,” “Boardwalk Empire”) adapted the ‘Worf of Wall Street’ screenplay based on a memoir by Jordan Belfort documenting his hard-partying, hard-working, burning-the-candle-at-both-ends lifestyle as a big-shot stockbroker. Not that the good times last — Belfort’s story takes a downturn into alcohol and drug addiction and a massive securities fraud case.

Red Granite principals Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland are producing ‘Wolf of Wall Street,’ along with DiCaprio (Appian Way), Scorsese and Emma Koskoff (Sikelia Productions) and Alexandra Milchan (EMJAG Productions). Irwin Winkler and Georgia Kacandes will executive produce. Production on The Wolf of Wall Street is slated to begin in August in New York.
