GP TaylorGP Taylor, the New York Times Bestselling Author, has been referred to as being the “new C.S. Lewis” in the United Kingdom. Some have even called his work, “hotter than Potter.” Graham Peter (G. P.) Taylor is the author of Shadowmancer, Wormwood, Tersias, The Doppel Ganger Chronicles, and Mariah Mundi and The Midas Box, among others.

GP Taylor’s book Mariah Mundi and The Midas Box is currently being turned into a multi-million dollar Hollywood movie, starring Michael Sheen, Sam Neill, and Lena Heady. The story of Mariah Mundi and The Midas Box follows Mariah after his parents suddenly disappear, and his younger brother is kidnapped by assailants. Mariah then gets whisked away by Captain Charity, and winds up at the Prince Regent hotel. There he must unravel the secrets to learn the truth about his parents and find his brother.

GP Taylor has been wanting to pen a high end television drama for several years, but wanted to wait until Mariah Mundi and The Midas Box began filming. Recently there has been a lot of buzz and interest surrounding “Jericho Bay,” the series being written by GP Taylor. GP Taylor told that he has partnered with a US production company, and they are currently in the process of finding a US network channel to develop the series, “Jericho Bay.”

“Jericho Bay” is being compared to the American-British series “Downtown Abbey,” a “period” series that takes place in the early 1900s. Comparisons can also be made between “Jericho Bay” and “Dynasty” because they both follow a family in the social elite.

“Jericho Bay” will follow the Bailey Family of Long Island from Christmas 1933 to the bombing of Pearl Harbor in December 1941. The story will center on Charles Bailey, the head of a newspaper empire along with his family.

The plot will revolve around not only the Bailey family, but also the lives of politicians, movie stars, artists, and businessmen of the same time period. Jericho Bay will break new ground in US television, and will also allow viewers to see the true human conditions. Themes such as celebrity, power, and hedonism were alive and well then, just as they are now.

GP Taylor is also planning to turn Shadowmancer and Tersias –The Oracle into movie productions. GP Taylor recently joined Liquid Noise Film North Company in England, which has just announced a film slate with a budget of over $200 million.
