Jon HammSeriously, has any SNL guest host, outside of maybe Alec Baldwin or Christopher Walken helped their comedic career, where their wasn’t one, like Jon Hamm has done over the last three years?

This morning, The LA Times is reporting that Larry David has a new mysterious comedy project getting developed at HBO with Michael Keaton and Jon Hamm. The project details aren’t out, and the deals are not signed, but according to The LA Times, ‘the talks are well underway’ over at HBO.

The little we do know is Superbad’s Greg Mottola will be directing an improvisational comedy with Curb your Enthusiasm star Larry David aiding. Jon Hamm and Keaton are set to do funny in front of the camera. David’s “Curb” collaborators Alec Berg, David Mandel and Michael Schaffer are also writing on the film. So stay tune. We all know what Jon Hamm can do with improve comedy. He’s actually great at it. His Mad Men character would suggest otherwise and had us all fooled, but we have found out Hamm is a very funny guy.
