New, NCIS: Los Angeles Casting Scoop NCIS: LA: Casting related scoop from Entertainment Weekly’s Sandra Gonzalez

Here’s some scoop on NCIS: LA from Entertainment Weekly’s Sandra Gonzalez’s The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 10/1/12.

Anything on NCIS: LA? It’s been a while… — Ed

How about some news on an NCIS: LA/30 Rock crossover? Not really. But sources confirm to me exclusively (ehem, Keith Powell told me at the Emmys) that Keith Powell recently wrapped up a guest stint on the CBS cop drama. And I’ll tell you that what brings him to the show is no laughing matter…

NCIS Los Angeles has done what its always done in the ratings department, the first two episodes were watched by 16 million plus people. It’s always about four or five million behind the king and original NCIS, but the show holds its own. I think its safe to say that NCIS is a better franchise than CSI. The NCIS season 10 premiere was watched by over 20 million people, and NCIS Los Angles in its fourth season hasn’t lost any ratings steam. With that said, let the debate continue.

NCIS: LA returns next Tuesday with 4×03 ‘The Fifth Man,’ on October 9, 2012 at 9pm on CBS.
