Person of Interest: Scoop on episode 2×01 “The Contingency”

Here’s some scoop on Person of Interest from Entertainment Weekly’s Sandra Gonzalez’s The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 9/1/12.

Sandra! Thank you for that Person of Interest scoop last week. So glad you’re watching the show! Can you tell me about anything more about some of the new faces this year? – Katie

 

While details are still under wraps about Margo Martindale’s guest spot, I can tell you that Lost alum Ken Leung plays the person of interest in the first episode, and Michael Emerson says, “he could not be better.” “He’s perfectly cast as a character that’s a bad match for Mr. Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Mr. Reese is forced to spend a lot of time with under dire circumstances,” he says.

 

 

Person Of Interest, I love it. The show just blew me away last season. Most of this scoop is known already, but we do learn a little about Ken Leung’s characters personality and so I decided to post this. I’ve been waiting all summer for Ken Leung and Michael Emerson to reunite, but it doesn’t sound or look like they’ll be spending much time together.

I love that Ken Leung’s character doesn’t get along with John Reese though. Some of that Jim Caviezel ultra dry comedy will be on display here I’m sure. It should be fun to watch.

If you haven’t seen the season premiere promo yet, let me tell you, that Finch starts off the season in trouble and John Resse is on a mission to find him. It took a while for Reese to trust Finch, but he does now, and Finch is really his only friend. I feel bad for whom ever took Harold Finch, John Reese will burn down New York City to find him.
