Rachel Nichols in negotiations to star in Stephen Kings Ten O'Clock PeopleThe always beautiful Rachel Nichols has joined the cast of ‘Stephen King Adaptation ‘Ten O’Clock People.’ THR says the negotiations are ongoing but all but certain to get done.

The maine born and Columbia University alum started her acting career in commercials while modeling to make money while is school. She got her break as Lisa in The Amityville Horror opposite Ryan Reynolds. The was nominated for and MTV Movie Award and Teen Choice Award for her performance. No, those aren’t the type of nominations you put on the movie posters, but it up her exposure. She is probably best known for playing Shana “Scarlett” O’Hara opposite Channing Tatum in the 2009 hit, ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra.’ She can currently be seen in the Sci-Fi series, Continuum.

King’s short short story was published in 1993 as part of his “Nightmares and Dreamscapes” collection and was notable for being set in Boston, Massachusetts as opposed to his familiar Maine locale. The story follows a man named Pearson and his attempt to quit smoking and the unknown and terrifying aspect of reality that he uncovers as he tries to kick it.

Rachel Nichols would play a woman who, like Pearson, can see a horrible aspect of reality, hidden in plain sight.
