The Real Housewives of New York City Season 5Bravo TV’s much anticipated 5th season of The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Monday, June 4th.

Season 5 of The Real Housewives of New York City will be bringing in some fresh housewives, while losing a few of the less popular ones from last season. At the end of season 4 Bravo let four of the housewives go, including Alex McCord, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Cindy Barshop, and Jill Zarin.

In season 5 we will be seeing the introduction of three new faces on the cast: Heather Thompson, Carole Radziwill and Aviva Drescher. Season 5 is described as being full of “Backstabbers, Blackmails, and Orgasms.”

The New Real Housewives of New York City:

Carole Radziwill – Carole is a best-selling author and award winning journalist. Her first novel, The Widow’s Guide to Sex & Dating, will be published this summer.

Aviva Drescher – Aviva received a Juris Doctorate from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is now a full time mother to four children. A farm incident at the age of six resulted in the amputation of her left leg. Aviva is the National Spokesperson for One Step Ahead, an organization that supports amputees.

Heather Thomson – Heather is a successful businesswoman who created “Yummie by Heather Thomson,” a successful shapewear line. Heather has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

From viewing the preview videos of Season 5 of The Real Housewives of New York City, it looks like another action packed season. There promises to be a lot of drama, backstabbing, and naked, drunken pool sessions with this mixture of new and returning cast. Ramona will continue to amaze us as she asks Aviva whether she has to have “fake toes.” No, Ramona, Aviva has a fake leg with real toes attached to it.
