Saturday, May 26th Primetime TV Ratings

Written by Alexander Tucker   // 05/27/2012

ratingsSports carried a primetime win for ABC last night as the Boston Celtics Defeated my beloved 76ers in a well played game that didn’t get out of hand until the final five minutes.

Meanwhile NBC rejects Harry’s Law and The Firm couldn’t crack a 0.5, 18-49 rating. CBS finished the night in second place ahead of FOX who showcased the dying American pastime that is baseball. The baseball ratings started out strong, but faded after 9 o’clock PM. CBS’s ‘NYC-22′ repeat and ’48 Hours Mystery’ took over from there. 48 Hours Mystery actually packed a pretty strong Saturday night punch,  garnering over 5 million views during the 10 o’clock hour. Not bad for a holiday weekend. CBS has always done well with tradition. It’s what sets them apart.
