Kevin Sussman Becomes Series Regular on CBS's The Big Bang Theory The Big Bang Theory: Makes Kevin Sussman a Series Regular

According to TVLine’s Matt Webb Mitovich, Kevin Sussman who has played the recurring guest-star role of Stuart since season 2 of The Big Bang Theory has been promoted to series regular status for season 6. How often Sussman appears on the show will most likely remain intermittent, which means he won’t appear in every episode.

My thoughts: Honestly, I don’t know why the producers feel the need to make Kevin Sussman a series regular. The character Stuart has never really stood out to me very much at all. Making Kevin Sussman a series regular doesn’t seem necessary to me. Perhaps the producers are planning to do more with the character this season, and that’s why they did this. I’m going to try and keep an open mind about this decision, but right now it just doesn’t make any sense to me.
