The Hobbit Trailer #2

Good morning film freaks, Tucker here with the new trailer from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey!

This trailer is all about adventure and the thrill of the journey that we’ll all be taking part in on December 14, 2012. The music underneath Gandalf the Grey’s deep and serious ton is  inspiration  and foreboding — a warning of the danger to come.

Martin Freeman is Bilbo Baggins the 14th member of the company that joins the Dwarfs on their quest to retain their land. When Kate Blanchett’s Galadriel asks Gandalfm “Why the Half Link?” Gandalf replies, ” because I am scared and because of his courage.” That line embodies The Hobbit and all JRR Tolkien’s Middle Earth books. The biggest and the strongest don’t always get it done. As said in the first Lord of the Rings, even the smallest person can change the fate of the future. This is why the books were and are such a success, the most unexpected heroes save the day.

The sprawling landscapes are more gorgeous and grand than of The Lord of The Rings. The scale of this production entices the imagination in way that I can’t describe. The Hobbit is going to be a legendary picture for that reason if nothing else.

J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, directed by Peter Jackson as three separate movies, is set in Middle-Earth 60 years before Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, which Jackson and his filmmaking team brought to the big screen in a trilogy ten years ago. The films, with screenplays by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, Guillermo del Toro and Peter Jackson, were shot consecutively in digital 3D using the latest cameras. The Hobbit follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins, played by Martin Freeman, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arrives in theaters in 3D & 48FPS on December 14th
