The Trailer for Rob Cohen’s ‘Alex Cross’

Alex Cross

Yesterday we got the first poster from Rob Cohen’s Alex Cross and now we have the trailer. This is some of what I wrote about the film yesterday: Audiences are used to seeing Tyler Perry dressed up like an old woman, but this fall they’ll be seeing a completely different side of the actor in Alex Cross, an adaptation of a character from James Patterson’s detective novels.

Alex Cross goes like this: After Washington DC detective Alex Cross (Tyler Perry) is told that his wife has been murdered, he vows to track down the killer (Matthew Fox). He soon discovers that she was not his first victim and that things are not what they seem.

So far all the visuals that have come from Rob Cohen’s, Alex Cross, have been really great. Matt Fox all ripped up and seeing Tyler Perry as a serious detective has been cool.

The Trailer portrays the film as dark and serious movie. Matthew Fox comes off as more than a rough dude, and more like a psychopath. This is going to be quite the game of cat and mouse. This is an interesting pairing. Two different men: A good guy and the bad guy. Alex Cross looks to be action packed. Can’t wait. I’ve never seem Matthew Fox like this.

Opening in theaters on October 19, the Rob Cohen-directed thriller stars Tyler Perry, Matthew Fox, Rachel Nichols, Edward Burns and Jean Reno.
