Fall marks my most favorite time of year. Not only for all the holidays, beautiful weather, changing color of the trees and my birthday (which is in October by the way), but mainly because I get to let my true colors shine and “fan girl” over my favorite movie franchise of all time. Yes, I am talking about The Twilight Saga. When I was first introduced to the books by a friend back in 2008, I was unaware of how huge this incredible dream thought up by author Stephenie Meyer would turn out. As fans from around the world have devoted their appreciation for the $2.5 billion blockbusters, I can’t help but be reminded that all good things must come to an end.

When the first and final book was released in late 2008, fans speculated over how the movie would wrap up in keeping true with the actual book ending. I have a horrible habit of reading a book, watching it come to life on the big screen and then re-reading it to see where it differs. So I for one am interested to see!

In the most recent issue of Entertainment Weekly, readers discovered that between screen writer Melissa Rosenberg and author Stephanie Meyer, the ending of Twilight will stray far from the original ending in the book. “When I first read the script, I got to that part and was like, ‘What?’” Robert Pattinson, who plays the infamous vampire Edward Cullen, says. “And then I had to go back a page.”

The Twilight Saga stars are hoping that the ending wont leak before it hits theatres on November 16th, and that their dedicated fans will be as pleased with the change to the ending as they are. “It does it a serious justice,” says Pattinson, with agreement from his onscreen wife, Kristen Stewart. “It’s clearly made by someone who really likes [the saga], and who really cares,” she adds. “That’s why Bill Condon is perfect. Thank God for him.”
