H+Is it a trend or a growing movement? Between Leap YearBurning Love and Jerry Seinfeld’s upcoming Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the webseries format is certainly having quite a moment — but if director Bryan Singer (The Usual SuspectsX-Men) has anything to say, that moment is about to turn into a movement with the release of H+ The Digital Series.

I’ve mentioned before that I’m a big fan of web series; I love the way they democratize creativity, allowing freedom for imaginative output uninhibited by studio notes or Nielsen boxes. While Ken Marino’s Burning Love is my current fave, a new genre series produced by Bryan Singer called H+ has definitely piqued my interest.

Now, it’s impossible to know it webseries’ will be hits or misses ten years from now. Personally, I’ve always felt TV and the internet will be one in the same by then, but if not, I think, webseries’ like H+ will be the reason they succeed.
