Suits Casting New, Producers looking For Another Member of The FirmSuits: Casting related scoop on the second half of season 2

Here’s some scoop on Suits from this week’s (Posted on 9/25/12) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Anything on Suits

Remember how exec producer Aaron Korsh told us that Hardman’s absence will “shift the perception” of the firm in the legal community and “possibly make them a little bit more vulnerable”? Well, I think the show is on the lookout for someone to capitalize on that vulnerability. Producers are searching for a Brit or Aussie actor to play the fortysomething head of a London-based international law firm on a recurring basis. “Avuncular, unassuming, likeable, you’d think he inherited his position — but he didn’t,” reads the casting notice. “He uses his simple-man charm to cover the fact that he’s deceptively smart.”

Suits is currently on hiatus and won’t be back until January, 2013. I don’t know the premiere day of the mid-season premiere, but don’t worry, the episodes are already in the can, and word is, a fourth season is coming. Yesterday, USA network renewed Royal Pains, White Collar, and Covert Affairs, and most think Suits is next.
